Namakkal eggs back on Gulf menu
COIMBATORE: Eggs from India are back on the dinner menu of the Gulf countries. After a 10-month ban, egg containers from Namakkal, the key poultry export hub of India, are once again finding their way to the shores of the Middle East countries.Over the last week, 35 containers, each containing 4,72,320 eggs from Namakkal have been shipped to Oman. Within a week, Kuwait is also likely to ease the curbs on export of eggs from India.
